Jiujiang Rollshine Photoelectric Technology Co., Ltd. has made another significant advancement in flexible perovskite photovoltaic technology. Following its world record achievement in November 2024 of attaining 18.63% average full-area efficiency for 30cm×40cm single-junction flexible perovskite PV modules, the company has now successfully demonstrated R2R printing of meter-scale flexible perovskite solar cells with 30cm width.
Utilizing its proprietary R2R printing technology, Rollshine has achieved continuous meter-scale production of flexible perovskite modules on larger-format, higher-efficiency production lines, substantially improving manufacturing throughput and yield rates. This milestone not only significantly reduces production costs and enhances market competitiveness, but also represents a crucial step toward industrialization of flexible perovskite PV technology.
Rollshine's flexible perovskite modules, characterized by their ultra-thin, lightweight, bendable and high-efficiency properties, are suitable for diverse applications including building-integrated photovoltaics, portable power devices, and wearable electronics. This R2R processing breakthrough will further expand the application scope of flexible perovskite PV modules, delivering more cost-effective clean energy solutions to the market.
The company plans to increase R&D investment to optimize R2R manufacturing processes, improve module efficiency and stability, and promote broader adoption of flexible perovskite PV technology. Concurrently, Rollshine will actively collaborate with domestic and international research institutions and industry partners to jointly advance perovskite photovoltaic industry development.
